Overview

If you are sending domestically within Australia and you have an account with Aus Post yourself, you can link that to GoSweetSpot and use your services via our platform. This process may vary depending on the type of account you have e.g. Startrack, eParcel, and MyPost Business.

Startrack & eParcel

To do this, you need to register your account with Aus Post's developer centre and provide some credentials for us to use. This is explained in more detail below.

Creating Startrack & eParcel API Credentials

To add your account, you first need to generate a request for API production credentials on the Australia Post Developer Centre here: https://developers.auspost.com.au/apis.

From here, you can create a login and receive email confirmation.

Once confirmed, return to the Developer Centre and complete a registration request.

The requestee needs to be a registered owner of the account.

Once they have registered on the Dev Centre, a case will be created to generate API production credentials.

Note, during registration, you will be asked if you are using a "Platform Partner", which you need to confirm.

You will then be asked to select a Platform from a drop-down menu. Please use the "Other" option from the drop-down menu, then provide our name: "Go Sweet Spot".

Linking Credentials With GoSweetSpot

Once you have a set of API credentials, you will need to set this up in GoSweetSpot. You can do this by logging into https://ship.gosweetspot.com/ and navigating to Administration --> Manage Carriers.

Add a New Carrier:

Once you have created the link on GoSweetSpot and input the API credentials, you can validate if your account has supported services.

If so, click 'Finish' to finalise the set-up, and the carrier will be available for use.

This will load the carrier, and you should now be able to see rates for your services under Create --> Outbound and Export.

MyPost Business

Creating MyPost Business API Credentials

We require the below information from your MyPost Business account:

  • Merchant Token

You can find this in your MyPost Business account by clicking on your profile in the top right and selecting 'Business details'. From here, you can find 'eCommerce Partners':

You can then find your Merchant Token under 'GoSweetSpot':

If you are unsure how to retrieve this data, please contact customer_connectivity@auspost.com.au.

Once you have the above, you can validate your account in GoSweetSpot under Administration --> Manage Carriers --> Australia Post My Post Business.

Copy in your Merchant Token and this will load the carrier, and you should now be able to see rates for your services under Create --> Outbound and Export.
